The Cities

This is a page about each of the cities in the project.
I have put the cities in alphabetical order.

Budapest

For Budapest a few of the students wrote about what the city means to them.

Eszti

I think Budapest isn’t as bad as some people say. I find it the most beautiful when the sun goes down and the night lights come up and everywhere i  look, Budapest is sparkling. In Budapest the night lights are the most beautiful things. When you see them some warm feeling enters you. This is your home. This is your city.

I live in Budapest since I can remember. I love it. Some people say, it’s a dirty, bad city but I don’t agree with them! I know, there are some goer cities like New York and London...but you know..East-west-Home’s best! I love the fragrances, the dishes, my friends living here. All of my friends. One of my best friends, Eszti is living so close to me.The dishes are very salty. I don’t eat meat, but everybody loves Gulyás and Beean soup, and  Lángos is good too and you have to taste Kürtöskalács! If it would be possible, I wouldn’t move!

Budapest is beautiful .I think so cool that divided into 2 parts. And between the 2 parts, is the Duna. Duna is a so long and wide river. Budapest has more than nine bridges. The most beautiful bridge is the “lánchíd” or Chainbridge. Lánchíd is under the “Vár” or castle. And the only tunnel in Budapest is under the castle. This castle built in 1853. I loveI Budapest so much.

This is the Lánchíd .Adam Clark made the plans. They started  to build it 1836 and finished in 1849. At the end of the Second World War the German army exploded the bridge.
I live in Kispest, the nineteenth district of Budapest. Kispest outside of Budapest, was  the connected to the city at 1950. I lived here for fourteen years ago.We lived a house with a garden. There are so many old flat house

Here is a prezi about the city as well.
